For the first time in Italy, the Rotary Disc Texturizer (RDT) will be running live during the Gherri Open House 2026. From 22 June to 3 July, our Italian partner Gherri Meat Technology opens the doors to its showroom and test facility in Parma, and the RDT will be set up for scheduled demonstrations and product tests.
The RDT is our patented technology for turning meat emulsions and by-products into textured, meat-like chunks. Through a controlled combination of heat, pressure, and mechanical rotation, it coagulates proteins into fibrous chunks with consistent quality from batch to batch. The machine runs on low energy consumption and includes an automated CIP system for cleaning.

For pet food manufacturers, the RDT means premium-looking chunks made from machine-separated meat and other low-cost raw materials, without relying on expensive prime cuts.
With rising raw material costs and growing demands for sustainability, food producers also face increasing pressure to do more with less.
