DANA Technology at Interzoo 2026

We will be in Nuremberg from May 12 to 15. Come and see the RDT and the Steam and Cooling Tunnel in Hall 4A, Booth 419.

DANA Technology will exhibit at Interzoo 2026 in Nuremberg from May 12 to 15. At our stand in Hall 4A, Booth 419, we will present two technologies for wet pet food manufacturers: the DANA Rotary Disc Texturizer and the DANA Steam and Cooling Tunnel.

The Rotary Disc Texturizer (RDT) was developed in-house by Lars Christian Nielsen and is protected by a US patent (US Patent 12419325 B2). It takes lower-grade meat raw materials, including salmon trimmings, poultry offcuts and mechanically separated meat, and converts them into structured, meat-like chunks. Through rotation and heat, it coagulates proteins into a texture that looks and performs like whole-muscle meat.

The results speak for themselves. One customer was recovering around 70 percent of usable product from their salmon raw material before installing the RDT. That figure is now above 90 percent, and the finished chunk competes directly with premium pet food on appearance and texture.

“The RDT changes what lower-grade raw material can become,” says Vagn Hansen, CEO of DANA Technology. “That changes both what a production line costs to run and what it earns.”

We will also show the Steam and Cooling Tunnel, which cooks and shapes wet pet food at capacities between 500 and 4,000 kg per hour. It delivers consistent results across batches and includes an automated cleaning system that cuts downtime between production runs.

CEO Vagn Hansen and Head of Sales Pedro Fossat will both be present at the stand throughout the fair.

“A lot of manufacturers we meet are leaving value on the table without realising it,” says Pedro Fossat. “They have the raw material. They just do not have the right machine to do something useful with it.”

You will find us at Hall 4A, Booth 419.
